We are an extension of each other—separated by distance, culture, and language but bound by a deep desire to be loved and feel love. Our most distinguishing attribute binds us together, yet we’ve failed to acknowledge these connections. Chasm has replaced empathy, and where love is needed, hostilities abound. Andrew’s work is a reminder that we are more than our differences. Inspired by the rich tapestry of Nigeria and his Canadian experience, each piece of art he creates is a story about the passage of time, the lessons we pick up along the way, the losses we take, the moments we celebrate and the passersby who linger in our memories forever.
